Kiichiro Toyoda established Toyota Motor Corporation in 1937 as a side project of his father’s (Sakichi Toyoda) organization, Toyota Industries, which three years sooner had made its first vehicle, the Toyota AA. Since then Toyota has kept making some of the worlds most reliable cars.
Today, it is Japan’s biggest organization, the world’s fifth-biggest, and either the first or second-biggest carmaker. It has in excess of 364,000 employees around the world. Toyota gets more cash-flow than Nissan and Honda combined.
